TR_POOL
The Question Pool function is used by the administrator to manage the question pool, which stores questions used on tests and in exercises. They are only available with the Omnixx Trainer extension.
To configure the questions for a certification, click the Question pool option from the Trainer drop-down menu. A list of all certifications previously added to the database is displayed in the Functionality area of the screen. Highlight the appropriate certification by clicking it with your mouse, and then click the Next button to continue. (Refer to Section 12.1.1 – Select Certification for the “select a certification” process.) However, if a certification was previously selected, the information for that particular certification will be displayed in place of the list of available certifications. Note: The particular certification selected for this function is shown in the Certification field in the Omnixx Console Summary area.
The Select Action Question Pool screen consists of two sections: Actions and Questions. The administrator is provided with a list of available Actions, and entries for each Question related to the selected certification. The administrator may select only one option from each list.
Actions
The Actions feature allows the administrator to select the action to apply to the certification. It also permits questions to be assigned to a particular certification.
Questions
The administrator selects a Question from the list to modify a particular certification by clicking the radio button located to the left of the questions ID field.
Each question is characterized by the following parameters:

ID – Question identifier

Type – Question type includes four (4) options:
1) Fill-in-the-blank
2) Multiple choice
3) True or False
4) Form

Category – Question category
•
Mod – Set parameter to Yes: Question can be modified; No – Question cannot be modified.

Del – Set parameter to Yes: Question can be deleted; No – Question cannot be deleted.
•
Question Text – The question text used in testing and course exercising.
