Device FunctionsOmnixx Console Device Functions
In order to run some applications from Omnixx, the subagency device running the program needs to be entered in the Omnixx database. For others, this is not necessary and the program can run from any device with network access to Omnixx. The Device functions are used to manage and configure these devices. A message switch can use the services defined in these functions to retrieve and update device-related information in Omnixx, thus eliminating the need to duplicate changes made to the switch tables. All devices are associated with a single subagency.
