Elements of the Omnixx Console Interface

The Omnixx Console Main screen is divided into four sections: Main Menu, Summary, Prompt, and Functionality. Each element is listed and described in this section (see Figure below).

The Omnixx Console Interface

A. Main Menu Area – The Main Menu Area is located on the left-hand side of the Omnixx Console Interface. It contains a tree menu of all available menu items. The menu only contains those items that the currently “logged on” administrator is certified to perform.

B. Summary Area – The Summary Area located across the top of the interface screen is divided into two parts. The right-hand side always displays the agency, subagency, user, and device currently selected by the user or may default automatically when the user logons to Omnixx Console. The left-hand side of the screen varies depending on what functions are available to the user.

C. Prompt Area – The Prompt Area located directly below the Summary Area displays the function name and any function-related instructions for the currently selected function.

D. Functionality Area - The Functionality Area, which comprises the majority of the interface, displays the currently selected function.
